Philharmony

From the day it was founded, Tbilisi Philharmonic has been a cultural centre, with a stage upon which the country’s most important musical and cultural history was written. This history is filled with chapters full of pride, a vast cultural legacy and countless memories. However, today, the doors of the Philharmonic are closed to the public so that very soon they may open even wider and welcome a new wave of culture. Its unique past now serves as a solid foundation for the future that lies ahead.

Before we write a new history, it is essential to remember and honor the old one. For this purpose, Starring Georgia has launched a new project – “Philharmonic • Frames of Time”. Within the project, the 50-year history and cultural heritage that shaped the soul of the Philharmonic and preserved it to this day will be digitised.
