Social Space: Where Ancient Legends Meet Modern Eco-Philosophy

"Music is the universal language of humanity" - you've probably heard this phrase at least once in your life, and it's easy to agree with its sentiment. Among all the remarkable discoveries humankind has made on this planet, music stands as one of the most unique. I use the word "discovery" deliberately, because music never needed to be invented by humans - it has always existed in nature. One could say that the natural world is music itself, and we, as humans, simply need to see and discover it. In this process, spaces and initiatives that help people find harmony and balance with nature are particularly significant.

The most philosophical and community-oriented part of the "Starring Georgia" ecosystem is precisely the "Social Space." This is a place for those who constantly seek new impressions and discoveries - for those whose journey never ends. On this path, listening to nature, finding a harmonious balance with the world, and living with ecological awareness become fundamental.

Accordingly, from its very first day, the mission of "Social Space" has been to unite people around a single purpose: caring for the environment and for one another through the sharing of knowledge and experience. In this text, we will explore the historical roots behind this idea, introducing you to the project's eco-design, its four unique conceptual spaces, and the gastronomic offerings that bring ancient myths to life in the beautiful surroundings of Shekvetili.

History and Vision - The Roots of Social Space

According to legend, the place where "Social Space" now stands was once a seashore. Here, travelers from the Mediterranean would gather and tell people the legends they had heard from the waves. This is how knowledge accumulated - shared among people over the years, passed down from generation to generation. It was precisely to preserve and continue this tradition that "Social Space" was created - a place where ancient myths unite with modern eco-philosophy.

Of course, different centuries and eras bring different challenges, which is why our forms of relating to the world also change. However, humanity's aspiration toward self-development and the pursuit of new experiences remains forever unchanged. To facilitate these experiences, "Social Space" operates in several directions, all serving the goals of balance, relaxation, discovery, and bringing a community together around a shared idea.

Eco-Design and Environmental Care

Although the space's goals and objectives encompass various beneficial initiatives, the most essential element remains care for the environment and harmony with nature. This is easy to see at first glance, as both the exterior and interior of "Social Space," along with its events, are infused with this idea.

Even its design concept serves the idea of approaching natural beauty. Of course, imitating nature is difficult for humans, but implementing eco-friendly approaches is crucial - which is why "Social Space" is built entirely from recycled wood materials.

The use of recycled and natural materials was never merely a matter of façade or aesthetics. For the Starring Georgia team, it was fundamentally important that no compromise be made in this regard and that harm to nature be avoided as much as possible.

Four Spaces, One Experience
The purpose of "Social Space" is clear, yet the paths to achieving it are quite diverse. One of the project's main objectives is to become the region's primary platform for creative activities and to encourage artistic initiatives, which in turn provides an opportunity to discover interesting people.

The Forest Library and co-working space is an ideal place to generate and share new ideas. Here, you can share every discovery with the person beside you so they can experience the same emotion. Encouraging such direct interactions is of utmost importance to the concept of "Social Space."

This is precisely why we find various zones here simultaneously dedicated to relaxation, rest, renewal, and work. This once again confirms that both our space and Shekvetili in general have the potential to become a primary hub for promoting physical and mental health.

Here we also find a conceptual shop featuring eco-products and examples of local art created by people living in the Guria region. Beyond people, space is also dedicated to our four-legged friends, companion animals, which further reinforces the idea of caring for one another and for nature.

It deserves special mention that all of this is located in the Shekvetili forest, on the territory of Musicians' Park - a place that is itself a meeting point between nature and craftsmanship.
Taste, Music, and Philosophy
The ideology of "Social Space" is reflected in its pescatarian cuisine, which is at once healthy, nutritious, and delicious. A menu inspired by organic products and Asian cuisine adds diversity and exoticism to guests' culinary experience.

The process of forming new impressions is closely linked to taste, which is why this component cannot be ignored. The philosophical approach of "you are what you eat" extends to beverages as well. The intriguing mixology bar is one of the favorite reasons for guests to visit "Social Space." Every taste and cocktail carries its own unique name and story, giving even more reason to find your individual flavor.

This philosophy is felt everywhere: in the design, in the cuisine, in the drinks, and ultimately in music as well. A vivid example of this is the first collaborative music album, Pale Blue Dot, named after our planet by astrophysicist Carl Sagan.

Pale Blue Dot: This is exactly how Earth appears from afar, yet observing it reminds us that it is our only home. This perspective is reason enough for humanity's journey through the world to become more beneficial and good-bringing. The universal language of music is the best means of spreading this mission. This is precisely why the album Pale Blue Dot was created: it aims to show us ourselves from a distant perspective and to make us reflect on our role in this world. It's worth emphasizing that the album isn't available only in digital form; guests of Social Space often have the opportunity to hear it performed live.

"Social Space" is not merely a location - it is a concept and an idea that unites nature, knowledge, music, and healthy living. It is a place that helps visitors find balance and establish a harmonious relationship with themselves and their environment.

Every person is a seeker by nature, and "Social Space" is precisely where finding like-minded people, sharing new ideas, or making discoveries that show us the world differently becomes possible. Here, one is given the chance to merge with nature and listen to its voice. This is a space where a single visit is enough to find a million reasons to stay.
