All Day I Dream - Journey into the World of Sound

"Music and sound don't deserve to be confined to a single space, sometimes they need greater freedom. When a gathering takes place under the open sky, the surroundings add entirely new layers to the music. Of course, I love playing in clubs, but performing at sunrise or sunset while creating the soundtrack for those moments is a truly special experience for me."

All Day I Dream event series was founded in New York in 2011 under the creative direction of Lee Burridge, beginning as a series of private parties before quickly evolving into an international phenomenon. Thanks to its distinctive visual identity, carefully curated lineups and diverse musical palette, All Day I Dream has become one of the true gems of contemporary festival culture. It is no surprise that Burridge chose not to keep the concept confined to a single city or country, instead sharing its unique atmosphere with audiences around the world.

"I wanted to bring beautiful elements into events and use natural elements for decor rather than metal trussing and intense lights to create an atmosphere in places like New York where the city itself is already a hard surface or more brutal in feel. All Day I Dream was the counterbalance to that in my mind. It's a place to escape to."

BALANCE

If there is one word that best defines All Day I Dream, it is probably balance. It is a phenomenon where multiple layers of art come together, transcending every kind of boundary. When you step into a party curated by Lee Burridge and his friends, you know that music, as the primary artistic language. will always be at the heart of the experience. But that's only the beginning. You're preparing for a unique journey that engages and challenges you on both a physical and a mental level.

Lee Burridge is first and foremost a DJ and then a music producer. That means he prefers connecting with his audience in a live setting rather than from the isolation of a studio, where an artist inevitably works alone.

Beyond founding All Day I Dream, Burridge has earned his place on the global electronic music map through his legendary sets at Burning Man and his pioneering role in the evolution of Organic House. Over the years, his ongoing exploration of the relationship between music and nature has established the British artist as one of the defining musical innovators of his generation.

Music is Everywhere

"The natural world is music in itself, you simply have to open your eyes. You can imagine trees as instruments or simply listen to the birds chirping. You can even play the rainbow with branches... Music is everywhere."

Without overstating it, it's fair to say that the defining thread running through both Lee Burridge's work and All Day I Dream series is melody and emotion. This doesn't mean his music is overly dramatic or weighed down by abstract ideas. On the contrary, he always strives to preserve a sense of lightness, creating an atmosphere that listeners can fully surrender to. For Lee Burridge, music is far more than entertainment. it is rather a path to discovery, self-reflection and personal growth.

"Not everyone may think that what I do is unique, but I always try to follow my inspiration wherever it leads me. It's important not to remain trapped inside your own shell you have to keep striving to grow."

This philosophy is interestingly reflected at The Social Space, a multifunctional venue in Shekvetili that will welcome All Day I Dream family for the fourth time on August 15. Created as a place where people can reconnect with themselves, The Social Space encourages visitors to discover a sense of inner harmony the foundation of peace, balance and emotional well-being.

Channeling the energy we accumulate in everyday life into something positive is a shared purpose that unites both The Social Space and All Day I Dream.

Alongside Lee Burridge, audiences in Shekvetili will also have the opportunity to experience performances by Lost Desert, Super Flu, Pippi Ciez and Makebo. Lost Desert is the stage name of Belgian DJ and producer Patrick Bruyndonx, whose artistic vision closely reflects the very principles that lie at the heart of All Day I Dream.

"We met again in Belgium and I invited him over to my house so we could work on some musical ideas together. The result was the demo versions of 'Stand Up Right' and 'No Wicked For The Rest'." - Lost Desert recalls that the collaboration, which began in 2015, developed naturally and quickly found its own direction. In 2019, the two artists released their collaborative album Melt, while their most recent collaboration appeared on the label's compilation album, Lost Desert & Friends III.

Super Flu is the German duo of Feliks Thielemann and Mathias Schwarz, who have been crafting energetic, emotional and distinctive electronic music since 2005 by blending elements of melodic techno and house. They grew closer to Lee Burridge during 2022–2023, when they began appearing together regularly at the same events. Today, Super Flu has become a frequent guest of All Day I Dream.

Pippi Ciez also has a remarkable story. His debut on All Day I Dream came in 2020 with the EP Riziki, a collaboration with Idd Aziz. The release found its way to the label after Lost Desert introduced his music to Lee Burridge. In recent years, Pippi Ciez has become one of the label's most distinctive artists. His signature sound blends Afro and Organic House influences with hypnotic rhythms and emotional melodies, creating an experience that is both deeply immersive and full of energy.

Makebo has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with All Day I Dream and has established himself as one of the label's key artists. He first appeared on an All Day I Dream compilation in 2019 with A Winter Sampler. Makebo brings a distinctly cinematic quality to electronic music. Through layered textures and unexpected musical transformations, his productions keep listeners in a constant state of movement and discovery.

Through the initiative of The Social Space, All Day I Dream's visit to Georgia has evolved into a cherished tradition. One that continues to inspire new musical experiments while contributing to the growth and evolution of the country's festival culture.
